SLP #0001 – Just Start: Beginning Before You're Ready

Why is it so hard to start something we actually care about?

We tell ourselves we'll do it tomorrow. Or this weekend. Or when life slows down. But the perfect moment rarely arrives.

In this first episode of the Summit Lab Podcast, I talk about the struggle to begin creating again—balancing work, family, responsibilities, and the constant excuses that seem to get in the way.

After reading about the concept of Resistance in Steven Pressfield’s book The War of Art, I started recognizing the invisible force that pushes back whenever we try to do something meaningful.

This episode was thought up while sitting at my kid’s swim practice—writing on a laptop I bought specifically so I could create anywhere. It’s a reminder that you don’t need the perfect setup, the perfect timing, or even a perfect idea.

You just need to start.
